- Saved energy
In production, the valves of the Sterillium® bottling line are operated by compressed air. Thanks to optimising the compressed air system the line’s energy demand has dropped by 300 000 kWh and the CO2 emissions by approx. 16 t per year.
- Less raw material consumption
By reducing the weight of the PE bottles for all colourant and fragrance-free Sterillium® products and of the bottles for instrument disinfectants BODE Chemie is able to save more than 83 t of resources for the production of plastics.
In addition, the optimisation of the labels has saved production steps and improved the recycling process.
